Jaclyn
Attorney at Law
Jaclyn Tweedy grew up in Madison, Indiana. She attended Hanover College from 2006-2010 and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science with cum laude honors. After completing her undergraduate program, Jaclyn worked as a legal secretary and paralegal for a Solo Firm in Madison that primarily practiced in the areas of family law and criminal defense. Jaclyn also worked as a program coordinator for Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children, Inc., a non-profit that advocates for children from abusive or neglectful homes.
Jaclyn, her husband, and children moved to Shelbyville, Indiana while she attended law school at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. She obtained her Juris Doctorate, with magna cum laude honors, in 2018. During school, Jaclyn obtained valuable experience working for The Indiana Attorney General's Office, the Internal Revenue Service, and Lewis and Wilkins, LLP.
In February, 2018, Jaclyn was admitted to practice in all Indiana state courts, the United States Federal Court for the Northern and Southern Indiana Districts. She was later admitted to the United States Tax Court. Jaclyn worked for the Indiana Attorney General's Office and a small private firm prior to deciding to establish The Law Office of Jaclyn K. Tweedy, LLC. The Law Office of Jaclyn K. Tweedy was established so that she could provide her clients with individualized attention focused at resolving legal problems as efficiently and affordably as possible.
